Privacy policy
This policy covers the Stray Dogs Tennis Club web app (app.straydogs-tennis.club) and the Stray Dogs iOS app. The club is a private, invitation-only social tennis club; the app exists solely to run club life.
What we collect
- Account details — your name and email address, created for you by the club when you join. There is no public sign-up.
- Club activity — match results, court bookings, challenges and invitations, rankings derived from results, and play-money (“Bones”) wagers you place.
- Optional profile settings — such as notification preferences, club location, and playing style, if you choose to set them.
That is the whole list. The app has no advertising, no trackers, and no third-party analytics, and it does not access your contacts, photos, or location.
How we use it
Only to operate the club: showing rankings and results to other members, managing bookings and challenges, settling play-money wagers, and sending club emails you can turn off in your notification settings.
Play money, not gambling
The Bone Bookie uses Bones — play money with no monetary value. Bones cannot be bought, sold, cashed out, or transferred outside the app.
Where your data lives
Data is stored with our infrastructure providers: Neon (database), Railway (hosting), and Resend (email delivery). They process data on our behalf and have no rights to use it for their own purposes. We never sell or share member data with anyone else.
Retention and deletion
Your data is kept while you are a club member. You can delete your account at any time from the app (Me → Delete account) or by emailing us — this removes your account and personal details; anonymised match history may remain in club records.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to see, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you. Email thomflam@gmail.com and we will sort it out.
Changes
If this policy changes, the effective date above changes with it and members will be told in the app.
